Job Description

Administrative Assistant
  • M-F, 8am-5pm preferred.
Seeking applicants to fill the full time position of Administrative Assistant in a local, well established, Construction Company. This person shall be dependable, organized, be able to multi-task, have a professional appearance with good customer services skills, and be able to handle a multi-line phone system. Experience in construction administration is a plus. Must have excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel. Benefits include insurances, vacation, 401K and paid Holidays. Must pass drug and background checks.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Perform data entry and update various databases
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and events
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Experience:
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role is preferred
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in computerized systems such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
