Job Description

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and looking to gain valuable experience within a major public sector department? We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join a prominent state agency's Local Programs Department for a 6-month contract opportunity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping community projects running smoothly by reviewing, verifying, and documenting financial paperwork. We are looking for a professional with data entry skills, sharp attention to detail, and a solid familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
salary:
$22 - $24 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4

No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Carefully review incoming invoices and reimbursement requests from local programs to ensure accuracy and compliance. Verify and track purchase orders against corresponding financial documents. Properly document, categorize, and log records into the internal department database. Maintain accurate, up-to-date spreadsheets and tracking logs to ensure seamless departmental reporting. Proven experience with data entry, administrative support, or clerical document review. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (sorting, basic formulas, and data tracking) and standard office software. attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to spot discrepancies in large volumes of text/numbers.
