Job Description

Overview The City of Norris is seeking a dependable and organized individual to serve as a part-time Records Clerk in the Administration Department. This position provides administrative and clerical support to the City Recorder's Office and serves as a key point of contact for residents seeking assistance with City services. Responsibilities The Records Clerk will assist with front office operations, including answering phones and assisting visitors at the service window. The position also supports basic financial and records management functions such as preparing the City's daily deposit, assigning accounts receivable to the appropriate revenue accounts, and filing municipal records. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with the public, able to manage routine administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, and capable of working both independently and as part of a small office team.
