Full Job Description Primary Purpose:
To support the Region 16 Education Service Center (ESC) by providing accurate and efficient administrative assistance to ensure quality results in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification High School diploma or GED required Skills Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, spelling, punctuation, and grammar Skilled in general office procedures, including answering telephones, filing, data entry, and maintaining an organized workspace Must be service-oriented, a team player, self-motivated, and responsible to complete all assignments Exhibits tact and relates well to people Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure with ease Projects a positive, professional, organizational image through in-person and phone interaction with customers

Welcomes customers to Region 16 ESC Conference Center Provides escWorks support and troubleshooting for the ESC staff, including: daily workshop registration troubleshooting data management network user management preparation of sign-in sheets and electronic check-in custom registrations quality control room set-up coordination Assists internal and external EscWorks customers by using the Region 16 Work Order System Assists the Coordinator of Employee Experience and the Systems Support Specialist with various network-related clerical duties Greet attendees warmly and provide first-point-of-contact customer service Resolve registration issues promptly and accurately Answer general inquiries about schedules, session locations, parking, and amenities Provide directions and assist with accessibility or special needs requests Serve as a liaison between attendees and event staff when escalations arise Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage front desk correspondence in a timely manner Coordinate with event organizers, speakers, and vendors to relay important updates as needed Monitor the flow of attendees to avoid bottlenecks and report issues to event staff quickly Proactively monitor the flow of attendees to assess unique circumstances and immediately report any issues to event staff Keep the registration area neat, stocked with supplies, and welcoming Provide a calm, professional presence during peak traffic times Assists other administrative assistants in the department as needed Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities Performs duties that directly and/or indirectly impact student performance in Region 16 Maintains a professional level of confidentiality regarding all ESC matters Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC strategic plan Upholds and adheres to the safety rules and policies of the ESC safety program Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures Manages time, calendar, and job responsibilities to meet deadlines Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by the supervisor Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies, as outlined by the supervisor Performs other duties as assigned
