iShine Pediatric Therapy Clinic is a small, clinician owned business in the beautiful hill country town of Boerne, Texas. We provide OT, PT, ST, behavior coaching and social skills groups to infants to teenagers with a variety of needs. We have a great team that works well together - humor and camaraderie are a huge part of our day! We have great, supportive parents, clients and families. We are looking to add the right person to our team. We are passionate about what we do and want to provide the best care for our clients and families every day. We are looking for an administrative assistant who can help us do that. The position starts as part time with the opportunity to grow into more.
Job Title:
Part-Time Administrative Assistant - approximately 15-20 hours (Monday-Thursday) a week to start and with potential to grow into more.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our therapy office with essential administrative tasks. This part-time role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth office operations and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a clinic or doctor's office and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming referrals. Handle insurance verifications and authorization requests. Assist with scheduling appointments for patients via phone and in person. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation. Provide general administrative support as needed, including answering phone
Requirements:
High attention to detail and accuracy are critical. Strong organizational and time-management skills are critical. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Proficient in basic computer and office software (EMR experience a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a clinic or doctor's office. Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.
