Job Description:
The Office Assistant plays a key role on our Operations Team, assisting with every book fair we serve. They are responsible for accurately inputting and managing data across various systems. This role combines data management, inventory management, administrative support, and operational coordination. It requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, efficiency, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Input and update data in company databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms Ensure data integrity and accuracy by reviewing and verifying information Maintain and organize electronic and physical records as needed Generate reports and retrieve data as requested Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management Communicate with team members to clarify data inconsistencies or missing information Order and maintain breakroom and office supplies as needed Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers, including cleaning, lawn care, and pest control companies Process damaged product according to company procedures and maintain accurate records Create shipping labels Perform digital inventory checks and investigate inaccuracies Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry or a similar role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data management software Strong typing skills and ability to meet deadlines Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and proficiently Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time position (40 hours/week) $28,000 to $34,000 a year, depending on experience 96 hours of Paid Time Off annually, accrued at 4 hours per pay period Paid holidays 401(k) with company matching EveryDollar budgeting benefit Employee Referral program 50% employee discount on
