Job Description
The Administrative Assistant to the General Manager provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the General Manager's office. This position is responsible for coordinating communication with Team Leads, maintaining accurate records, tracking projects, managing data, and supporting key business initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires exceptional communication skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, experience working within an ERP system, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Essential Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including managing emails, calendars, meetings, and daily priorities. Track projects, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely completion. Communicate regularly with Team Leads and department managers to gather updates, monitor progress, and ensure follow-up on outstanding tasks. Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets, reports, and project trackers using Microsoft Excel. Perform accurate, high-volume data entry while ensuring data integrity. Generate reports and organize operational data to support business decisions. Maintain and update information within the company's ERP system. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and distribute follow-up action items. Organize and maintain electronic files, records, and documentation. Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other administrative documents. Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive company information. Provide general administrative support to leadership as needed. Qualifications Required Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years of administrative support, office administration, or related experience. Experience working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables
