The Front Office Clerk is often the first person seen by those visiting the healthcare center, and greets each patient in a courteous and helpful manner. By making patients feel comforted and supported, the Front Office Clerk contributes significantly to AHF's mission. Within their duties of, scheduling appointments, screening patients for correct billing and financial information and assisting with the needs of our clients, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF, encourages clients to continue to seek medical treatment from an AHF Healthcare Center and recommend our services to others. Attention to detail when pulling up patient charts and medical records, will ensure a smooth flow of patients, and allow our physicians to provide treatment efficiently. By being a team-player, and lending a hand to other members of the healthcare center staff, the Front Office Clerk can enhance the overall experience of their coworkers. In addition, providing feedback to their manager about how service could be improved, can help to ensure the front office operations are running at the highest level of productivity. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS2 will work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. They will facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation. The role requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports. A valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate is necessary, with skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
