Position Summary Supports the Director and assists in coordination and provision of secretarial support to the department.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Work Experience:
Two (2) years increasingly responsible secretarial experience or equivalent office management experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry.Education and Training:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.Skills:
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, and Lotus Notes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient of English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to read and comprehend English in order to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Excellent knowledge and understanding of varied Medical terminology necessary to complete reports with minimal delays. Knowledge of supplies, equipment ordering and inventory control. Excellent customer service skills. Typing speed 40 wpm. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Benefits
