Job Description

We are hiring a BDC / Administrative Assistant to join the front office at Whiteface Ford. This role owns the customer follow-up side of the sales process: answering and responding to inbound leads quickly, keeping appointments on the calendar, and keeping our CRM (DriveCentric) accurate and current. You are the first, fast, friendly touch a customer gets, turning an inquiry into a scheduled visit to the dealership. Selling the vehicle once the customer is in the door belongs to our sales team; your job is making sure that hand-off happens as often and as fast as possible.
Reports to:
Melissa Schlabs (BDC / floor manager).
Responsibilities:
Speed-to-lead:
respond to new inbound leads (phone, text, email, web) fast. Every minute of delay costs the store a chance at the sale.
Appointment setting:
turn a responded-to lead into a booked, confirmed visit.
Consistent follow-up:
work assigned leads on a cadence, with no dropped or forgotten follow-ups and no unlogged CRM activity.
CRM hygiene:
keep DriveCentric records current, log every call, text, and email, and keep tasks closed out.
Customer experience:
friendly, organized, professional tone on every call and text.
Requirements:
Comfortable being on the phone and a computer for most of a shift. Reliable, dependable schedule. This is a desk role tied to business hours, not flexible gig work. Organized, detail-oriented, and follows through without being chased. Customer-service or office/admin experience a plus. CRM experience (DriveCentric or similar) a plus but not required, we train the right person. Good written and verbal communication.
Compensation:
$15 per hour, not commission-based. Standard Whiteface Ford benefits apply.
