Permits & Inspections ClerkExpress Employment Professionals has teamed up with a leading local Electrical Contractor to find their next Permits & Inspections Clerk! Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping projects moving forward? Our client, a well-established electrical contracting company, is looking for a Permits & Inspections Clerk to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative coordination, working with local municipalities, and supporting construction projects from start to finish.
What You'll Do:
✅ Submit and track electrical permit applications with city and county agencies ✅ Schedule inspections and coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and field crews ✅ Maintain accurate permit, inspection, and project documentation ✅ Follow up on permit approvals and inspection results to keep projects on schedule ✅ Communicate updates to internal teams and assist with resolving permitting issues ✅ Process paperwork, update databases, and maintain compliance records ✅ Provide additional administrative support to the operations team as needed
What We're Looking For:
✔ Strong organizational and multitasking skills ✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel ✔ Ability to work independently while managing deadlines ✔ High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience:
⭐ Previous experience in permitting, inspections, construction administration, or a related field ⭐ Familiarity with electrical, construction, or contractor operations ⭐ Experience working with municipalities, building departments, or regulatory agencies

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
