Service Coordinator - A Degree Above About Us A Degree Above is a trusted HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical trades company focused on delivering high‑quality service and exceptional customer support. We value teamwork, communication, and efficiency across all departments. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator to manage scheduling, support field technicians, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth daily operations within the Service Division. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and plays a key part in keeping service jobs on track. Key Responsibilities Schedule HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical technicians based on urgency and availability Maintain job documentation, paperwork, and inventory records Research, price, and procure parts, materials, and equipment Register warranties and ensure licensing and certifications remain current Assist with marketing efforts, client outreach, and social media updates Support financial tasks including collections, payments, and financing assistance Verify technician compliance, maintain job checklists, and support accurate billing Serve as the main customer contact for scheduling, updates, and service inquiries Maintain office organization and track fleet insurance and registrations Keep logs updated, follow up on tasks, and assist with weekly safety/training meetings Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer‑service skills Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination preferred Familiarity with HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical industries is a plus Proficiency with office software and digital tools Education & Experience High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred 2+ years of administrative, coordination, or dispatching experience Experience in trades or service‑based industries is highly beneficial Benefits & Perks We currently offer 4 paid holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
