This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient service. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to grow within a supportive dental community dedicated to quality care and professional development. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations Verify insurance coverage, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Maintain accurate dental medical records, review documentation for completeness, and update electronic health records (EHR) systems regularly Assist with phone communication, answer inquiries promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing clinic documentation review processes Skills Proven experience in dental administrative support within a dental setting, including clinic experience and front desk responsibilities Strong knowledge of dental insurance processes. Familiarity with Open Dental. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy for documentation review Exceptional patient service skills with effective phone etiquette and clear communication abilities Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies, dental terminology, health information management practices, and medical office management principles Ability to perform clerical tasks such as filing, appointment scheduling, medical records management, and 10 key typing with speed and accuracy Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail in documentation review and care plan coordination
