POLICE RECORDS CLERK
Position Description The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth and continuing functioning of department operations. This is accomplished by providing numerous administrative and support services for the department personnel. Additional duties include but are not limited to data entry and auditing of all reports, answering telephones, providing customer service, scanning paperwork and facilitating jail releases, operating a variety of computer and office equipment and interacting with other city employees, citizens, and employees of other Government agencies. Full time employees earn two weeks of vacation during their first year of employment and 10 hours of sick leave a month. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalency. Six months to one year of customer service experience. Valid Class C Drivers License with good driving record. Must be able to pass a standard background check, as well as a background check through the FBI Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and a drug screen.
