Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (obtainable through AISD upon hire) Two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours or an Associates Degree, or Passing score on the "Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam, to be administered by Alvin ISD.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Accuracy in use of computer Proficient skills in typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance Effective communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills

Experience:

One year clerical experience in a public education environment preferred
