In person Boyd Brother Metal Buildings is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to our Director of Operations and Director of Finance. This is a hands-on administrative position supporting both construction operations and financial administration. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to take ownership of assignments and follow them through to completion. Key Responsibilities Handle construction permit applications and permitting follow-up with cities, counties, and other agencies Gather, organize, and submit documents required for permitting Track permit applications, outstanding requirements, approvals, and deadlines Collect, organize, and expense receipts and purchases to the appropriate company or project Maintain organized electronic project, permitting, purchasing, and administrative records Assist the Director of Finance with routine documentation, expense tracking, and other administrative tasks Assist the Director of Operations with project documentation, correspondence, follow-up, and day-to-day administrative needs Prepare emails, forms, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed Assist with general office administration and special projects Perform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable making phone calls and following up with municipalities, vendors, and other outside contacts Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications Ability to learn online permitting portals, software, and company processes Dependable and able to work independently Ability to take initiative and follow tasks through to completion Previous administrative or office experience preferred Construction, permitting, project coordination, purchasing, or accounting experience is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, resourceful, and willing to learn.
