Job Description

The Respiratory Care Department is recruiting for one part-time student worker for the Fall 2026 semester. This position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support to an office that oversees multiple institutional programs. Assists staff, faculty, and students by performing a variety of tasks that ensure smooth daily operations, accurate record keeping, and a welcoming environment. Assist with performing office duties such as answering phones, processing of mail, data entry, filing, and organizing. Assist with restocking classrooms with required supplies Triage student traffic and assist students with general questions related to the enrollment and application process. Perform all other duties as assigned. Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semester and 3 credit hours in the summer English proficiency Demonstrate proficient written and oral communication skills Friendly and professional attitude and good interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and ability to establish and meet timelines Team player who is dependable, punctual, organized, and detail oriented While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle controls, key pads, etc. Will be required to sit and reach with hands and arms as well as, sit, stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, some color vision, and the ability to adjust focus from documents to computer screen. Hearing of light to moderate sound is required by this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
