Job Description
Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support a growing team in Waco, Texas within the paper and packaging industry. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, confident working in Excel, and comfortable managing large volumes of data and digital files. The person in this role will help maintain accurate records, organize documentation, and contribute to reporting or data analysis efforts when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Extract, review, and organize information from Excel spreadsheets to support daily administrative operations.
- Create, name, and maintain digital folders and files to ensure documents are easy to locate and properly stored.
- Upload and manage electronic records with strong attention to accuracy, completeness, and version control.
- Enter and update data in internal tracking documents and spreadsheets while maintaining a high level of precision.
- Support documentation needs tied to the development of safety system materials and related administrative processes.
- Identify inconsistencies or missing information in files and follow up to help keep records current and reliable.
- Assist with basic reporting and data review activities, including analysis support for candidates with advanced Excel skills.
- Collaborate with team members in a startup-style environment where priorities may shift and strong organization is essential. Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative support or office coordination role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to sort, filter, and manage data effectively.
- Experience with data entry and electronic file management in a fast-paced work environment.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and organized documentation.
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines and changing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working across team functions.
- Ability to support a developing business environment with a proactive and dependable approach.
