Job Description

Job Summary:
The Office Assistant provides administrative and operations support to toServe Ministries and assists with the daily office functions, communication, ministry correspondence, and database management. This position supports the ministry by helping to maintain efficient office operations and providing exceptional service to staff, volunteers, and those we serve.
Reports to:
Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks, special projects, and other duties that support the ministry's daily operations
  • Assist with ministry mail, including distributing correspondence and materials to volunteer workers
  • Process returned mail and assist with researching updated contact information
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within the database
  • Assist with worker and volunteer communication and training support
  • Prepare and maintain ministry correspondence and administrative documents
  • Maintain office supplies and routine ordering needs
  • Assist with ministry communications, including distributing the electronic newsletter, posting social media updates, and sharing ministry information and events as directed
Qualifications:
Actively involved in a church Commitment to the mission and values of To Serve Ministries Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with ministry workers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills, including email, Word, Excel, or similar tools Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others Adaptable and willing to assist with a variety of tasks to support the ministry's needs
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
