Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
3 Years in Administrative Assistant Experience
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure efficient operation of the campus office and to provide clerical services for the school's administrative staff, particularly for the principal. The Principal's Secretary plays a leadership role in relation to other office clerical staff under the principal's supervision. This position directly assists the campus principal in managing the campus budget, campus relations and communications.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators and other staff.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
General knowledge of campus functions.
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Possess technical skills necessary to perform essential job requirements, such as proficient typing, word processing, ability to develop spreadsheets, and databases.
