Office Assistant - Engineering Capstone Office (part-time 17.5 hours/week) The part-time Capstone Office Specialist provides administrative and office support for the Capstone Office Managers as we all work with the directors, coaches, and 350+ students in our program. This position offers the opportunity to work part time in a fun office environment on BYU Campus while gaining experience in using the financial and office processes, software, and systems used university-wide. What you'll do in this position Place online and phone orders for Capstone team purchases as directed by managers. Track monthly finances against annual funding and reconcile transactions. Work with monthly university financial statements to create Capstone balance sheets and financial reports. Process the financial transactions created through purchasing and record the transactions in Capstone budgeting and financial databases. Assist in planning, scheduling, and running Capstone events as needed Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Capstone office managers. What qualifies you for this role: Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
