Brigham Young University strongly prefers to hire faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. •The last day to submit an application for this position is April 21, 2026, by 11:59pm MST. •Program Administrator, Logistics/Travel Responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of arrangements for FSY programs in relation to transportation. What you'll do in this position: Logistics Administration Plan, facilitate, and manage FSY session specific travel arrangements for youth participants and staff in the U.S. and Canada (flights, charter bus, rental vehicles, shuttles, parking passes, etc.). Obtain, track, and update travel information for all hired FSY staff and youth assigned bus and air transportation to FSY conferences across the U.S. and Canada. Maintain excellent relations with Church leaders, FSY staff, BYU Travel agents, FSY Hiring team, FSY and Church Financial, and FSY Session Administrators. Prepare staff and youth chaperone online training guides. Prepare and conduct in-person travel training presentations at multiple training sessions. Financial Planning Prepare youth and staff transportation budgets for assigned FSY sessions and manage operations within the approved budget. Approve and execute transactions in compliance with all university and Church financial, hiring, purchasing, and payroll policies and procedures. Monitor financial activities and update forecasts for assigned sessions. Staff Supervision Participate in the interview and hiring of seasonal core leadership employees for FSY program. Supervise ongoing work of assigned part-time and full-time student employees. Train assigned employees, evaluate their work, and provide appropriate feedback and corrective discipline. What qualifies you for this role: Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. Bachelor's degree plus two years related work experience or five years related work experience. Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to plan, administer, and evaluate youth and staff transportation needs for sessions in US and Canada. Demonstrated ability to track complex details of multiple projects at various stages of completion. Demonstrated public relations skills working positively with important constituents including ecclesiastical leaders, volunteers, and patrons. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to produce and administer multiple budgets, track important metrics (registrations, income, and expenses), and provide accurate financial analysis and forecasts. Excellent computer skills, including prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Previous Project management experience. Previous experience managing large-scale travel accommodations. Interviewing, organizing, supervising, creative thinking and marketing experience preferred. Typical Starting Pay:
$73,000 - $95,000 The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors.
