Dental Assistant / Front Office Coordinator River Crossing Family Dental - 1.0 Riverton, UT Job Details Full-time $21 - $24 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications Organizational skills Four handed dentistry Full Job Description River Crossing Family Dental is seeking an experienced dental professional for a full-time, cross-trained position divided approximately equally between dental assisting and front-office responsibilities. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys clinical dentistry but also communicates well with patients and is comfortable keeping the front office organized. Approximately half of the week will be spent assisting chairside and half supporting the front office. Specific daily assignments will vary according to the patient schedule and the needs of the practice. Clinical responsibilities Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry Preparing and turning over operatories Sterilizing instruments Taking digital X-rays and scans Making temporary restorations Maintaining complete and accurate clinical records Learning or assisting with SprintRay printing, SprintRay software, and exocad Front-office responsibilities Greeting and checking patients in and out Answering phones and scheduling appointments Collecting patient payments Supporting treatment-plan presentations and follow-up Helping patients understand recommended treatment and their next steps Maintaining accurate patient and scheduling information Assisting the existing front-office team as needed
Schedule Monday:
7:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
Tuesday:
7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
Wednesday:
7:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
Thursday:
7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. Approximately one Friday per month replaces that week's Monday shift Qualifications Previous dental experience is required Comfortable working both clinically and at the front desk Strong patient communication and organizational skills Dependable, flexible, and willing to help wherever needed Open Dental experience preferred Digital-scanning and temporary-restoration experience preferred Benefits Paid holidays PTO available after six months Employee and immediate-family dental benefits 401(k) with up to a 3% employer match after six months Four-day regular workweek Training and growth opportunities involving digital dentistry and in-office 3D printing Please submit your resume through Indeed for consideration.
