Job Description

InfoWest is an Internet Service Provider based in St. George, Utah. We primarily serve communities throughout southern and central Utah, as well as Overton Nevada with highly reliable wireless and fiber optic technologies. We recently became subsidiary of the Boston Omaha Company (
NYSE:
BOC) and are rapidly expanding our fiber-optic services. As our company is preparing for rapid growth with more extensive construction, marketing and sales budgets, we need to expand our fiber construction team. This is a position for individuals interested in working as an administrative assistant. InfoWest operates a wireless and fiber optic network throughout southern Utah. We have installed miles of fiber optic lines over the last decade and we are expanding every day. At InfoWest, our ultimate objective is, "To Provide the Ultimate Internet Experience, one customer at a time". We're looking for someone who will help us close the digital divide and help us meet our ultimate objective. InfoWest is committed to helping our community have access to high speed, reliable internet services. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative related tasks and will be able to work independently at times. The candidate must be reliable, flexible, well organized, and willing to learn and enjoy the challenges of supporting an office and its teams in diverse responsibilities. The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure while remaining flexible and efficient is crucial to this role. Candidate needs to have a high level of verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail.
Job Functions:
permitting Blue Stakes assist with labor & job costing assist with organizing projects assist with ordering materials assist Project Managers assist with scheduling working with crew members on questions, organization, and scheduling of projects. tracking OSHA regulations, safety meetings, Rocky Mountain Power Construction standards, and NESC standards.
Qualifications:
ability to multitask ability to follow up and ensure timely completion of projects and tasks Construction experience a plus but not required grant and or government programs a plus, not required Customer service experience a plus. Excellent communications skills. critical thinking and problem solving open to all forms of communication, including constructive criticism Basic knowledge of computers, word, excel, google docs Must be able to pass a background check, drug test.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
