HR Legal Coordinator |ROLE OVERVIEW
Provides broad HR and legal support to the HR/ Legal team, company, and employees by building relationships and being knowledgeable on various HR and legal functions. HR Legal Coordinator |GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Rapport The employee is expected to build positive, professional relationships with team members, demonstrate a collaborative and team-oriented mindset, and consistently maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Company Culture Contributes to a positive and supportive work environment by helping foster a welcoming workplace culture, coordinating or providing employee amenities, and identifying opportunities to enhance the overall employee experience. Event Planning and Travel This role provides supplemental support for the planning and execution of company events on an as-needed basis, coordinating with applicable departments and assisting the HR role in charge of events. The employee may also be responsible for booking employee travel when requested. Onboarding & Employee Management Assists with the onboarding of new employees by guiding them through assigned portions of the onboarding process and serving as a knowledgeable resource for questions and support. The employee also helps maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring information is handled appropriately and in accordance with company policies. The employee is also responsible for assisting with core benefit administration tasks, including enrollment support and data management. Office Management Supports daily office operations by assisting with office supply and equipment ordering, monitoring usage, and maintaining established organizational procedures throughout the office. The employee is responsible for ensuring shared spaces remain tidy, organized, and free from clutter, resetting designated areas as needed. Additional responsibilities include managing the collection and distribution of mail and packages and monitoring and responding to messages in the general company email inbox as assigned. Facilities Management Assists with the ongoing maintenance and functionality of the office space, helping ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment. The employee is expected to develop and maintain positive working relationships with property managers and support the effective utilization of office space. Legal Assisting Supports basic legal administrative functions by maintaining a general understanding of company legal agreements and assisting employees with legal-related needs as assigned. The employee contributes to the organization and maintenance of legal materials and may assist with tracking and processing legal fees and payments. Front Desk & Receptionist Functions Acts as the first point of contact for the office by managing the front desk and providing receptionist support. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering the door and receiving packages, and maintaining a professional presence at the entrance. The employee ensures the lobby area is well-presented and assists with check-in procedures to maintain office security and hospitality. General Assisting Provides general administrative and operational support to members of the HR and Legal teams, including running errands as needed and assisting with day-to-day tasks. The employee is expected to actively receive and relay feedback, proactively identify areas of need, and take initiative to support team priorities and ensure smooth team operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage tasks efficiently, maintain accurate records, and ensure daily operations run smoothly without disruption. Confidentiality & Professional Discretion The employee must consistently handle sensitive employee, legal, and company information with discretion and integrity. A strong understanding of confidentiality expectations and the ability to exercise sound judgment when managing private information are essential. Proactive Problem-Solving Ability Success in this role requires the ability to anticipate needs, identify gaps, and take initiative without constant direction. The employee should be comfortable noticing areas for improvement and proactively implementing solutions to support employees, teams, and office operations. Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) Clear, professional communication is critical for coordinating with employees, responding to inquiries, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. This role requires the ability to convey information accurately, listen actively, and relay feedback in a constructive and timely manner. Adaptability & Flexibility This position supports a wide range of responsibilities that may shift based on business needs. The employee must be comfortable adjusting priorities, learning new processes, and supporting various teams as needs evolve. Administrative & Operational Support Skills A strong foundation in administrative support is important, including experience with scheduling, record maintenance, supply coordination, travel booking, and general office operations. Attention to detail and follow-through ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Team-Oriented Mindset This role thrives in a collaborative environment. The employee should demonstrate a willingness to support team members, contribute positively to team culture, and work collaboratively to achieve shared goals. HR Legal Coordinator |ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Experience Previous experience in an administrative, office management, HR support, or operations-related role is preferred. Experience supporting multiple teams, managing day-to-day operational tasks, or working in a fast-paced office environment is beneficial. Education or Equivalent Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional coursework or education in business administration, human resources, or a related field is a plus. Technology & Systems Proficiency Proficiency with common workplace tools such as email, calendars, document management systems, and office productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office). Experience learning new systems and tools quickly is expected. Ability to Handle Confidential Information Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and company information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
