Student Support Program Administrator About Spectrum Academy:
Spectrum Academy is a premier Charter School that specializes in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Approximately 80% of our student body receives Special Education services. About the
Position:
Reports To:
Executive Director of Academics Position Purpose:
To ensure the oversight and compliance of all components of Spectrum Academy's student support services, including mental health, nursing, and therapy programs across all campuses.
Description of Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Personnel Oversight:
Oversight, training, development, hiring, and evaluation of all in-house and contracted personnel in the following areas: Mental Health staff Nurses/CNAs Occupational Therapy (OT) staff Physical Therapy (PT) staff Speech Therapists (SLP) Medicaid coordinators
Program Management:
Health & Nursing:
Ensure compliance regarding student health care plans and manage community health-related issues in collaboration with state directives.
Mental Health:
Oversight and approval of State mental health initiatives, including safety plans and suicide post-vention.
Medicaid:
Manage the School Medicaid Program and coordinate billing services with outside agencies.
Assistive Technology:
Participate on the Utah Assistive Technology Team (UATT) and liaise with the Utah Center for Assistive Technology.
Evaluation & Testing:
Order special education testing materials and ensure the availability of evidence-based quality evaluation materials for treatment planning.
Administrative Compliance:
Ensure all related services staff are properly licensed in their content areas and that all service delivery complies with State and Federal regulations.
Grants & Reporting:
Complete grants and program applications (e.g., Utah Grants) and submit all state-mandated reporting requirements for support services. Employee will need to be able to move independently between multiple locations including classrooms, offices, hallways, district locations, etc. and travel between multiple locations via means of personal transportation. This position is considered an "in-person" position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in an education-related field
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of related services experience (e.g., therapy, nursing, or mental health) in a school setting 3 or more years of leadership experience in a school setting and/or current administrative license

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
