Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our medical office's transcription department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the electronic health record (EHR), including faxing, making calls, and completing assignments as directed by the supervisor. A background in medical terminology and transcription is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform transcription tasks as assigned, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle faxing of medical documents and other relevant paperwork.
  • Make and respond to phone calls related to transcription and other administrative duties.
  • Manage tasks within the electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in medical transcription or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Hours and Compensation This is a full-time position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
