The purpose of this position is to serve as the Transition Readiness Program (TRP) Administror to perform support functions of ghering, collecting, upkeeping, and reporting stistical da; to prepare and conduct briefs, presentions, and training sessions; to assist clients, and to participe in program outreach events as directed. The TRP Administror is a member of the TRP office which conducts and executes the installion¿s TRP duties to assist military members and their families as they transition to civilian life and complete all congressionally manded requirements per Congressional Public laws, Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI), Marine Corps Orders and other directives. Greets clients and ghers brief personal da to assist in identifying immediacy of need and scheduling appointments. Receives clients and provides warm handoff to the approprie service provider. Screens incoming telephone calls, determining those which can be answered, and those which must be referred. Schedules clients for classes and individual appointments and provides reminder/follow-up communicion to clients. Adapts services for clients as needed. Assists in the execution and facilition of transition assistance seminars and personal and professional development program lifecycle requirements. Supports registrion and scheduling of clients; assists training instructors in preparion for classes or during training to include aiding students with course work; and coordines logistics for hosting seminars and other events. Interfaces with unit personnel, Unit Transition Coordinors (UTC), designees, and others to ensure units are familiar with and educed on all program requirements. Provides UTC/Designee training, UTC/Designee refresher courses, TRP educional briefs, and other briefs as required. Maintains continuous communicion with UTC, designees, and other unit key stakeholders to support the commander¿s efforts in executing the program requirements. Maintains continuous communicion throughout the installion, other TRP offices, HQMC, external agencies and inter-agency partners, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizions to successfully market the program, provide outreach to clients, coordine local career fair opportunities and TRP events. Research informion on local and nional career, educion, and/or recruitment processes and standards, and labor market trends and produces supporting merials for distribution to clients. Conducts, organizes, and provides program analysis to ensure functional needs are met for programs and services. Supports program evaluion efforts; prepares reports, after-action requirements, and follow-on support for all unit-level inspections. Supports and participes in the Marine Corps Family Program (MCFP) Certificion. Collects, compiles, organizes, and maintains informion and da to support TRP and to meet program requirements. Crees, prepares, and manages reports, dabases, spreadsheets, graphics, slide shows, presentions, correspondence, and draft instructions, and ensures the quality of content. Facilites methods for automing reports and correspondence. Manipules da to meet presention and report requirements. Compiles administrive reports regularly or as otherwise directed by the program¿s leadership. Evalues and interprets da to identify and clarify issues and concerns. Performs support functions and prepares reports and input for budgets for the P&PD programs. Executes HQMC's established da collection and reporting processes and procedures. Ensures client tendance to all required courses are properly reported on the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program (DoDTAP) system and other systems as directed by HQMC. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists clients and communices positively in a friendly manner. Ability to manage, organize, coordine and prioritize multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously. Skill in preparing documention and presentions in the proper form following naval correspondence rules of grammar and punctuion. Ability to opere a personal computer and associed peripheral equipment and software. Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software suites. Knowledge of a variety of support functions such as ghering stistical da, monitoring, and reporting. A thorough knowledge and understanding of quantitive and qualitive analysis and explorion and the ability to compute and perform analysis. Skill to check source da to verify completeness. Ability to compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of da before it is entered into computer systems and required dabases or plforms for use in analyses or reports. Ability to compare da with source documents, detect errors and make corrections as needed. Knowledge of classroom management. Ability to prepare course merials and handouts to support the delivery of instructional curriculum. Ability to present established briefs, presentions and other informional merial in a classroom setting. Knowledge of conducting research to support updes to program literure, marketing and/or outreach efforts. Ability to communice professionally and effectively, both oral and in writing, with employees, clients, and others using proper tact, diplomacy, emotional intelligence, and overall professionalism. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relionships with various internal and external entities to support program events. Ability to ascertain needs from clients and provide approprie guidance. Must be able to incorpore and rapidly adapt to changing facets, priorities, and procedures. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance . This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Additional informion
