  • Full-time Unit Coordinator, Radford Health & Rehab The Unit Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical support as part of a customer-focused, service excellence-oriented team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Exhibits effective communication. 2. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and relationship building with families and employees. 3. Demonstrate understanding of the call bell system. 4. Demonstrates understanding of how to handle a service concern from patient/family/co-worker/ or vendor. 5. Demonstrates understanding of use of proper telephone etiquette. 6. Demonstrates ability to communicate via secure communication. 7. Demonstrates knowledge of use and expectations for sending and receiving email notifications as appropriate and directed by DON. 8. Verbalizes understanding of his/her role in Huddles and Staff Meetings. 9. Demonstrate ability to submit a maintenance request. 10. Demonstrates ability to understand and process all matters in EHR. 11. Verbalizes understanding of storage and inventory of medical and office supplies; assisting Supply Coordinator to maintain unit inventory. 12. Verbalizes understanding of medical supply charge system. 13. Demonstrates proper infection prevention and control procedures. 14. Attends required meeting. 15. Demonstrates basic knowledge of fire and safety program. 16. Demonstrates ability to schedule appointments and transportation for patients. 17. Demonstrates ability to operate required equipment. 18. Must complete all Relias training before annual review can be completed.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. CNA or Medical Assistant Certification preferred. 3. Knowledge of medical terminology. 4. Experience with computers. 5. Excellent Customer Services Skills. 6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal. 7. Experience using Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint). 8.
