Job Description
Be the Organizational Backbone of a Mission-Driven Leadership Team Paratransit Services is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for our Corporate Office in Bremerton, Washington. This is a key administrative support position within our organization. We are looking for someone who is professional, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting executive-level operations in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be dependable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strong communication. This position serves as both a receptionist and executive administrative support role and is often the first point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors. The individual selected for this position will play an important role in helping maintain efficient daily operations within the corporate office. Position Details Full-Time Position Monday through Friday Approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Corporate Office located in Bremerton, WA Wage Range and Benefits Starting wage of $23.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits offered include: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Vacation, sick, and holiday pay Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health and dependent care expenses Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Additional voluntary life insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance Long-term disability insurance 403(b) retirement plan participation Primary Responsibilities Provide direct administrative support to the Vice President and Administration Department Perform receptionist duties in a professional and courteous manner Operate and manage a central phone system Provide timely and effective customer service Support day-to-day office and administrative operations Type, copy, file, scan, and organize documents and correspondence Prepare, proofread, edit, and format reports, letters, and other materials Coordinate effectively with department heads, supervisors, and staff Maintain filing systems and office organization Order and restock office and breakroom supplies Notify departments when supplies and deliveries arrive Support office equipment and copier supply needs Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times Analyze workflow concerns and recommend improvements when appropriate Complete assignments accurately and within required timelines Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED required Previous office or administrative experience preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel Must know how to perform mail merges using Word and Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments Strong follow-up and follow-through skills Ability to take direction and work independently Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment Dependable attendance and punctuality required Professional appearance and demeanor required Reliable personal transportation required What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Honest and trustworthy Prompt and dependable Organized and detail-oriented Professional and respectful Calm under pressure A team player with a positive attitude Committed to producing quality work About Paratransit Services Paratransit Services is dedicated to providing quality coordinated transportation and community services that meet the needs of the people we are entrusted to serve.
