Production Manager About Aurum Contracting Aurum Contracting is a growing roofing and exterior construction company focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a motivated, organized Production Assistant to help keep our projects moving efficiently from sold job to final completion. Position Overview The Production Assistant will support the Production Manager and field teams with scheduling, job coordination, materials, customer communication, documentation, and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Production Manager with daily project coordination Schedule crews, materials, inspections, deliveries, and project appointments Communicate with homeowners regarding project schedules and updates Coordinate with roofing crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff Track project progress from start through completion Help ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time Maintain accurate project files, photos, notes, and documentation Assist with permits, inspections, and warranty paperwork Monitor jobs for completion and identify potential issues Help coordinate final inspections and customer walkthroughs Follow up on outstanding production items Assist with change orders and project documentation Update CRM/project management systems Help resolve customer or production issues quickly and professionally Perform occasional field visits to verify project status Support the Production Manager with other tasks as needed What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills Professional and positive attitude Ability to multitask and prioritize Strong attention to detail Comfortable communicating with homeowners and contractors Basic computer skills Ability to learn CRM and project-management software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Construction or roofing experience is preferred but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, follows through, and doesn't need to be constantly reminded what needs to get done. You should be comfortable making phone calls, solving problems, coordinating multiple moving pieces, and working with both office personnel and field crews. Construction experience is a plus, but organization, communication, work ethic, and attitude are more important.
