Job Description

Assistant Administrator Royal Montessori Academy is seeking an energetic, dependable, hardworking, and trustworthy individual to join our growing leadership team as an Assistant Administrator. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of our Montessori preschool community while helping ensure our students, families, teachers, and classrooms are supported throughout the school day. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with children and families, and is willing to step in wherever support is needed. The Assistant Administrator will work closely with the Administrative Team to help maintain school operations, support teachers and classrooms, assist families through the enrollment process, and help uphold the expectations and values of our school community.
Responsibilities Include:
Admissions & Enrollment Responding to and helping schedule tours for prospective families Supporting admissions and enrollment processes Assisting with required admissions paperwork Updating student information within school software systems Maintaining enrollment records and documentation School Operations & Administrative Support Supporting the daily operations of the school Assisting with communication and organization throughout the day Helping coordinate school events, functions, and activities Supporting substitute scheduling and classroom coverage Providing general technical and operational support as needed Assisting with record requests and student documentation Classroom & Teacher Support Supporting teachers and classroom needs throughout the day Assisting with curriculum materials and classroom organization Helping maintain a positive and consistent school environment Coordinating support staff schedules with classrooms when needed Student & Family Support Building positive relationships with students and families Assisting with student behavior support plans when needed Helping facilitate communication between teachers, families, and administration Supporting schoolwide expectations, routines, and procedures Compliance & Policies Supporting compliance with DPI requirements and school policies Assisting with immunization reporting and required documentation Helping maintain student and staff handbooks and policies Supporting emergency procedures and compliance expectations

Loves children and enjoys being part of a school community Is organized, flexible, and proactive Can multitask and adapt throughout the day Communicates professionally and kindly Works well within a collaborative team environment Is dependable and solution-oriented Enjoys building relationships with families and staff Wants to grow within a school leadership role Experience in education, administration, childcare, customer service, or school operations is preferred.
