Job Description

The Maintenance Clerical & Support Staff position provides clerical and administrative support to the Rusk County Maintenance Department. This role primarily focuses on office-based support tasks, assisting with daily operations and ensuring efficient department workflow. This position will be flexible with approximately 10 hours per week. The person in this role shall demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with computers and standard office software. This position will work no more than 600 hours per year. The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Enter and update data within department databases and file systems Assist with scanning and coding of invoices and other departmental records Perform general clerical tasks, including filing and organizing records Assist with Billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable Assist with marketing materials as well as website organization Clerical duties as assigned Must be at least 16 years old. Valid WI Driver's License. Proficiency with computers, scanners, and digital file management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements This job entails minimal physical demands, typically found in an office environment, with very limited exposure to workplace hazards. Some lifting, moving, bending, and twisting. Work Environment Usual office working conditions - comfortable work environment.
