Administrative Support Specialist (Customer Support & Sales)

45 hours per week | Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Potential flexibility for an 8:00 AM start Position Overview The Administrative Support Specialist supports the Customer Support and Sales teams by handling internal requests, assisting with service coordination, and completing administrative tasks. This role is based fully onsite in Monona, WI and is part of a small, growing team. Responsibilities Provide internal support for informational requests and assist with troubleshooting service issues Coordinate efforts with Dispatch, Operations, and Sales teams Assist Customer Service and Sales departments with reporting and verification of complaint data for commercial and residential customers Prepare service request changes for transactional add-on sales to existing customers Participate in planning and improving departmental administrative processes Occasionally respond to customer inquiries related to recycling and waste hauling or processing services Develop and maintain a working knowledge of evolving services Perform other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications 1+ year of customer service experience (retail, restaurant, or property management experience acceptable) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Empathetic and action-oriented approach to customer support Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook (Excel training provided if needed) Typing speed of at least 45 WPM Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail Positive and professional demeanor Ability to learn and support the South Central Wisconsin service area Preferred Qualifications Office or administrative experience Experience working with CRM systems Experience handling escalated or difficult customer interactions #centralpriority26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofMONONA, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
