Job Description

Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and other department leaders.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support and assistance to the US manufacturing Plant Manager North America and/or other assigned department leaders Performs clerical and administrative tasks including communication and reporting on daily activities and ongoing projects Receives incoming communication on behalf of plant manager, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff Schedules and/or attends meetings on behalf of plant manager, taking notes and providing assistance to ensure the priorities are met and goals are achieved Assists with new employee orientation and onboarding Coordinates orders for IT equipment, kits, business cards and other items necessary for employee success Facilitates payment of vendors, service providers and suppliers Assists and/or arranges travel and accommodations for leadership team as necessary, including hotel booking, transportation, and meals Organizes team communications and events, both internally and offsite Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercises discretion when interfacing with the business Assist with other projects as needed
Travel Requirements:
This is a onsite based role, however, up to 10% travel may be required to attend key industry and corporate events.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to keep company confidences
Education and Experience:
BS/BA or equivalent experience required, preferably in business-related field Two years of work experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management Preferred experience overseeing budgets and expenses Preferred experience developing internal processes and filing systems
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
