Job Description

Position Description :
Under the direction of and in cooperation with the site administrator, to be responsible for all the secretarial functions of the site, and to perform related work as may be required. Position Requirements
  • Act as administrative assistant to the Principal and Assistant Principal as needed
  • Interact positively and frequently with students, parents, staff, and others
  • Make decisions to assist in the smooth operation of the Middle School
  • Perform general secretarial functions using current office technology
  • Perform simultaneous tasks daily with frequent interruptions
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze confidential records, data, and files
  • Prepare reports and correspondence as directed
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Manage financial transactions, including receiving, receipting, balancing, safeguarding, and depositing school funds
  • Prepare, distribute, reconcile, and maintain cash boxes for school activities and events
  • Administer first aid and dispense medication under direction of school nurse
  • View challenges as opportunities to learn and improve the organization
  • Perform duties related to student activity accounts, officials pay, and other assignments
  • All other duties as directed by the Principal Position Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and technology skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under stress
  • Ability to organize and complete complex tasks

  • High school diploma required; additional education/training preferred
Salary:
$17.05 - $24.09
Hours:
8 hours per day Monday-Friday year round
Pay:
$17.05 - $24.09 per hour
