Family & Children's Center is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Viroqua and Revenue Cycle teams . In this role, you'll be an essential part of our mission by supporting clients, providers, and the revenue cycle process that helps make quality behavioral health and family services possible. What You'll Do:
As our Administrative Assistant at the Viroqua office, you'll play a key role in both front-office operations and revenue cycle support by: Greeting clients and creating a welcoming, professional experience Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with client inquiries Verifying insurance eligibility and collecting required documentation Supporting billing, claims, and payment processes Entering and maintaining accurate client and financial records Assisting with authorizations, referrals, and insurance follow-up Preparing reports and completing administrative tasks to support clinical staff Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient office operations Maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive client information

Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timely turnaround Is comfortable learning electronic health record (EHR) and billing systems Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and compassion Has experience in medical office administration, insurance billing, healthcare revenue cycle, or related administrative work High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education and experience in business, healthcare administration, accounting, revenue cycle, or related field is a plus!
