An Administrative Clerk or Coordinator performs administrative work in an office. Coordinates work to support an office team. Works in a wide variety of office settings, such as a company or business, or a government office or school. Manages paper and electronic files, uses office equipment including computers, responds to phone calls and emails. May manage office staff expenses, supplies or schedules.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
may include the following, as needed: Provide care for Acute and Chronic injury/illness needs of students, with competence and according to established Department of Public Instruction and School District of Waukesha policies and procedures. Work with family medical providers to obtain appropriate authorization for medication and/or health procedures during the school day. Effectively communicate with parents, school staff and district nurse as needed regarding student health needs during the school day, and update logs as they pertain. Supervise, assist and/or provide direct care to students, following the Individual Health Plan, to manage student chronic health conditions that may include but not limited to diabetic Care (carb counting, blood glucose checks, insulin injection, insulin pumps), urinary catheterization, gastrostomy care and asthma care. Distribute medication in accordance with School Board Policy, DPI laws and statutes and Delegation under the WI Nurse Practice Act. Refer students who may require health care to the parent and/or school district nurse. Provide leadership, organize and follow up on referrals, in school health screening programs (vision, hearing, head lice, etc.). Treat all information and records in a confidential manner. Lend assistance to building secretary for minor clerical needs, as directed by building principal. Perform other duties which relate to the position as assigned by the building principal or school district nurse. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Experience in patient care in a medical field is preferred, but not required. Certification in First Aid CPR/AED, or a willingness to become certified. High school graduate Clerical skills such as filing, typing, word processing, telephone skills, ability to interact with others and prioritize work responsibilities. Completion of course work and/or license/certificate in Medical Assisting, CNA or other health related field preferred, but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, federal, state, and/or DPI regulations, handbooks, computer and other manuals, budget reports and statistical data. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to interpret and communicate reports, procedures, and computer applications to faculty, staff, and students. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to statistically manipulate numbers; make advanced mathematical calculations; check for accuracy.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively solve problems. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with several abstract and concrete variables.
