$15.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, professional, and highly organized Temporary Clerical Assistant to provide administrative support to the Employee Services Department and CEO. This is a key support position within the agency and requires an individual who can be trusted with highly confidential employee and agency information. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment, discretion, professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, can operate independently, and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through when supporting agency leadership and employees. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide general clerical and administrative support to Employee Services and the CEO. Organize, maintain, and update employee and agency records and files. Complete accurate and timely data entry. Assist with preparing, reviewing, and distributing agency correspondence. Manage routine email and administrative communications as assigned. Assist agency leadership with special projects and time-sensitive assignments. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, personnel, and agency information. Prioritize multiple assignments and adjust quickly as agency needs change. Track assigned tasks and ensure deadlines and follow-up items are completed. Assist employees and leadership with administrative needs in a professional manner. Make occasional local trips to the post office and complete other agency errands as needed. Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will be: Extremely reliable, dependable, and punctual. A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Accurate and thorough when completing tasks. Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing needs. Professional and effective in both written and verbal communication. Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office programs, and basic office technology. Able to follow instructions while also recognizing tasks that need attention. Trustworthy and committed to maintaining strict confidentiality. Consistent with follow-through and meeting deadlines. Comfortable interacting professionally with the CEO, agency leadership, employees, and other stakeholders. Able to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license required. Reliable personal transportation required. Ability to complete minimal local travel for post office trips and occasional agency errands. Ideal Candidate This is more than a traditional clerical assignment. The Clerical Assistant will work closely with both Employee Services and the CEO, making reliability, professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment essential to success.
