Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Kennel Technician and Office Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for animals while delivering outstanding customer service. This energetic position combines hands-on animal care with administrative duties, ensuring our pet guests receive top-quality attention and our clients feel valued and well-informed. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment that promotes pet well-being and client satisfaction.

•Duties Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and administering medications as needed. Handle animal restraint and behavior management to ensure safety during grooming, and boarding. Perform kennel sanitization and maintain cleanliness standards to promote a healthy environment for pets and staff. Assist with pet grooming and pet boarding services to ensure animals are comfortable and well-cared-for. Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments. Maintain accurate records of animal intake and client information with attention to detail. Support team lifting efforts when handling large or heavy animals or supplies safely and efficiently. Skills Previous animal experience or background in veterinary, boarding, animal care is required. Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling enhances your ability to connect with pets and owners alike. Strong customer service skills to create positive interactions with clients and visitors. Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and behavior understanding to ensure safety for pets and staff. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably while caring for animals in various environments. Proficiency in cleaning protocols specific to pet care facilities to ensure sanitation standards are met. Physical capability for heavy lifting, team lifting, and outdoor activities necessary for animal care tasks. Familiarity with pet grooming techniques and pet boarding procedures is a plus.
