Warrants Technician

The Warrants Technician will perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, process all warrants received, cleared or recalled, provide warrant information as requested, and notify appropriate personnel or agencies of those executed. The Technician will also manage

entries, respond to teletype inquiries, answer all phone calls to the office and will request holds as applicable. They will also manage attempt to locates from in or out of county and arrange all details related to fugitives and extraditions. They will also maintain a working relationship with Sheriff's Office Booking, the State Attorney's Office, Clerk of the Court, DOJ, Social Security, FDLE, Public Defender's Office, FBI, Homeland Security and Judges. They will also work to assist the sworn members of the unit, our agency, as well as other agencies in and out of state behind the scenes as requested in the execution of their duties serving warrants.

Tasks:

Complete assignment as directed; maintain work areas; knowledge of general orders; receive, route, and disperse telephone calls/messages; maintain confidential files; maintain and update files/reports/documentation; process new warrants and capias from other counties; provide warrant information to LEOs and public; notify officials/agencies of warrants executed; cancel FCIC entries; recall warrants from other counties; respond to teletype inquiries; enter wanted persons into FCIC; request holds for subjects in doc custody; run court view inquiries; process out of county warrants and bonds; process warrants from Visiflow program. High School Diploma At least 18 years of age PG 01
