Job Description
Help for Partial Job Description. Opens a new window. MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Field Office Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
OCIO/G-6
with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to
CASTLE-NET
program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
- Conducting network performance evaluations, checking conference room equipment, and supporting end-user devices while ensuring compliance with
USACE IT
policies.
- Planning and leading major technology assignments while evaluating performance results to recommend changes affecting project success.
- Assisting with IT equipment disposal training and supporting onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing and documentation.
- Functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments to deliver world-class IT services and responsive customer support.
- Delivering vital solutions that strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all mission requirements while supervising others as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or an Associate degree with 10+ years of experience; or 12+ years of total relevant experience.
- Possess 8+ years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles with progressively responsible experience.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in remote support tools and ticketing systems with a willingness to travel extensively for field missions.
- Must maintain a DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification and remain current with industry trends in network engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the
USACE IT
environment, regulatory requirements, and primary compliance automation tools.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to travel 75% of the time.
