About theRole:
This role is split to support both the Office Services Team and the Meetings and Events team. As a CBRE Mail Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail. As a CBRE Meeting and Events Technician, you will be responsible for physical set up and tear downs of basic meeting room set-ups for conferences and special events.What You'll Do:
- Deliver mail, packages, copy products and stationery to assigned groups/ locations, as per the daily schedule.
- Ensures that all packages received are distributed correctly on the same day, or alternatively consignee advised of the following day delivery.
- Daily supplies audit and replenishment.
- Audits delivered items with delivery invoices.
- Ensures all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.
- Process shipment request with vendors, advising package owner of arrangements.
- Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages.
- Stocks copy and conference rooms
- Stocks first aid cabinets
- Performs daily set up and tear down of meeting rooms to include midday room changes, evening refreshes and receptions. This work takes place indoors and outdoors.
- Adjusts room reservation and event equipment to specifications.
What You'll Need:
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 1-2 two years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
- Ability to effectively present information to an internal department/ colleagues.
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.
- Warm and engaging demeanor.
- Basic analytical skills and financial terms and principles.
- Capability of understanding and following general instructions and ability to solve problems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word and Outlook.
- Ability to use computer system to record materials received and shipped.
- Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more.
- Decision making ability with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve goals and deadlines.
- Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
