Job Description

Pay:
$27-36/hr The pay listed is the hourly/salary rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. For information about ABM's benefits, visit Annual Benefits-Staff and Management ABM is seeking a Mailroom Services Clerk for our client. In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for the mail and shipping distribution process. You will oversee the mail services and shipping department (within our client office) by coordinating the distribution and mail, packages and parcels for client campus. You will also act as the primary vendor point of contact for maintenance and urgent repairs of mailroom equipment.
Skills Requirements:
Ability to adhere to time-sensitive tasks by working quickly and efficiently throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of urgency. Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy. Ability to read and understand equipment manuals. Typing, computing, and data entry skills. Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with all internal and external contacts. Time management - strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Flexible and supportive team member. Contributes ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Competent and working knowledge of navigating Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace and Mail Services software College degree or equivalent work experience preferred Experience working in an office setting. Previous mailroom or clerical experience a plus Customer Service Experience Responsibilities Maintain the mail, package and parcel inventory and replenishing supplies as needed throughout conference rooms and satellite stations on client campus. Creates shipping labels for courier packages online. Collect packages in satellite campus location for mail services Maintain the FedEx, UPS, DHL or similar shipping label file. Operate and maintain mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, check printers and stuffer. Act as point of contact for mailroom equipment repair and maintenance vendors. Drop or coordinate shipping of commercial packages to a commercial hub (as needed) Assist with package tracking by updating, responding and/or assigning cases. Assists in the handling of mail services related inquiries either via case management system, phone or in person with professionalism, courteous and a sense of urgency. Participate in projects as assigned. Escalate concerns or difficulties to the Campus Manager (Sr. Facilities Manager) with a sense of urgency.
