• Oakland, CA About Favor On-Demand Favor On-Demand is launching first in San Francisco and is actively building its early Helper community throughout the Bay Area, including Oakland .

We're creating a new kind of platform where people can post everyday tasks—and local Helpers can choose the tasks they want to complete and get paid. From errands and moving help to creative and business support, Favor On-Demand connects real people with real help. We're currently selecting a limited number of Founding Helpers in Oakland to join before our East Bay expansion. What This Opportunity Is This is flexible, on-demand work—not a traditional job. As a Favor On-Demand Helper, you: Choose the tasks you want Decide when you work Accept tasks based on your schedule The person requesting help sets the price—you decide whether to accept it.

No fixed schedules No required hours No minimum commitments Examples of Tasks Tasks may vary based on demand throughout Oakland and the surrounding East Bay and may include: Home & Moving Help Light cleaning and organizing Packing or unpacking Yard work Junk removal Moving assistance Errands & Deliveries Grocery shopping Store pickups or returns Running local errands Waiting in lines Same-day deliveries Handyman & Physical Tasks (Non-Licensed) Furniture assembly Mounting TVs or shelves Minor home help Heavy lifting Tech & Digital Help Device setup (phones, laptops, Wi-Fi) App or software installation Basic tech support Creative & Business Support Photography or content creation Social media assistance Graphic design Administrative or office support Events & Miscellaneous Event setup or breakdown Party assistance General help where needed Why Join Early? As one of our Founding Helpers, you'll receive: Priority access before public expansion into Oakland Early access to available tasks The opportunity to build your profile and ratings from the beginning A chance to help shape the future of Favor On-Demand in the East Bay Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Smartphone (iPhone or Android) Reliable and professional Able to work independently Must pass a background check Must provide your own transportation and tools (when applicable) Background Check To help maintain a safe and trusted marketplace: All Helpers are required to complete a background check during onboarding. Helpers are responsible for paying the applicable background check fee during onboarding. Founding Helper Incentive The first 100 eligible Helpers who successfully complete at least $300 USD in Eligible Paid Task Volume may be eligible to receive reimbursement of their background check fee.
