Full Job Description Description:
Job Summary:
To perform or assist in the loading of mail product on offline mail equipment. Assist Mail operator.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs daily Safety and Maintenance inspections on offline inkjet machines. Loads and unloads machine pockets in an efficient safe manner. Continually organizing the mail area to create the maximum amount of space on the production floor. Operates forklifts and jacks in a safe and non-destructive manner. Verify that mail product is the correct product for a specific job. Assist Mailing operator in locating mail product. Assists when needed in wrapping of skids and preparations for loading. Works with all customers and fellow co-workers in a professional, cooperative, and respectful manner. Understands how to sort mail product and ensures that it is sorted correctly. Has a working knowledge of mail classes. Performs other duties as requested by Mailing management and mailing floor lead.
Requirements:
Desired Qualifications/Competencies:
English Language:
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language to understand requirements when building loads, and creating load tickets etc. Ability to operate a Hand-Jack, Pallet Load Shrink wrapper and forklift along with other Warehouse related tools and equipment, OR the ability to be trained on same
Physical Demands:
The physical demands are typical for an industrial manufacturing setting, with some dust, moving hand jacks and some lift trucks. Loading and un-loading mail product on Mailing machines. Should be able to lifts up to 50lbs.
