In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling packages, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities Load and unload packages from trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners Organize packages within the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate quick retrieval Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation Use RF scanners to track inventory movement accurately throughout the warehouse Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move packages of various sizes and weights Maintain organized filing systems for shipping records, invoices, and related documentation Ensure safety protocols are followed during all handling activities, including proper use of equipment Experience Prior warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is a plus Experience with RF scanners or similar inventory management tools is desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures enhances effectiveness in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse operations while contributing to a high-energy team environment.
