Commissary Manager Job Summary:

The Part-Time Commissary Worker assists with commissary duties such as assisting the commissary manager by distributing commissary orders inside the facility to inmates. Confirming delivery of all items to each individual. This position supports daily operations by ensuring products are distributed efficiently while all facility guidelines. Key Responsibilities Accurately delivery products to the correct inmates in the facility insured by confirming inmate ID. Assure the products delivered to an inmate are the items ordered. Competently operate Commissary equipment including software and ordering system Transport goods from the jail receiving dock to the assigned location of the Commissary. Maintain a clean work area. Interact with security personnel in a 'security first' and respectful manner. Support team members with daily operational tasks as needed. Ensure timely completion of assigned duties in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Work Schedule Part-time hours, mainly Tuesday & Thursdays 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexible scheduling based on operational needs. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Ability to work in refrigerated or hot kitchen environments when necessary.

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
