Full Time and Part time positions Newly hired employees are covered by the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). DUTIES:

Delivers and collects mail on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions in a prescribed area. Maintains professional and effective public relations with customers and others, Requiring a general familiarity with postal laws, regulations, products and procedures commonly used, and with the geography of the area. May be required to carry mail weighing up to 35 pounds in shoulder satchels or other equipment and to load or unload container of mail weighing up to 70 pounds. Hours will vary and will include holidays and weekends; there is no guarantee of hours. You must be flexible with little to no lead time or advance notice of a schedule change. You will perform work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, sleet, ice, snow, cold, and heat, and you may encounter animals and insects too. Your duties will be physically demanding requiring moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, and walking. You may be required to learn and become proficient in delivery of mail on other routes. You will always provide mail security. You must follow established safe work methods and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Have you resided in United States or its territories for the past 5-years? Are you a U.S. citizen or are you a U.S. permanent resident (greencard)? Have you lived in the United States or its territories for the last 5 years? Do you have a valid state driver\'s license, and have you had it for at least 2 years? Is your driving record clean?
