Job Description
Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities:
Retrieve mail and packages from the Northwood Post Office and outside vendors Scan packages and be accountable for mail for staff and students via the Send Suite Tracking System Prepare and process all outgoing campus mail and shipments via courier service Make emergency deliveries, as needed Deliver mail and packages to Thurgood Marshall Make deliveries for the Print Shop Retrieve packages that were wrongly delivered Monitor the post office vans for needed repairs and update the monthly mileage log Fill in and assist with the duties of others, as needed Assist customers at the service window Perform other duties as assignedRequested Minimum Qualifications Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.Experience:
One year of related work experience is required. A valid Maryland Non-Commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license is also a requirement. Other Preferences forConsideration OTHER :
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year- basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
